PARENT RESOURCES

awâsis waciston School has a long-standing partnership with The Family Centre. Parents are encouraged to ask
school administration, or the Success Coach to connect them with the Roots and Wings Worker that is assigned
to our school. This resource is completely voluntary and the Roots and Wings worker will meet parents where
they are most comfortable, at their home or at the school.

They can assist families to connect:
- with services they may need for their children
- with attendance concerns to encourage the importance of coming to school
- a positive relationship between the home and school
